摘要: China plans to implement its first lunar exploration mission Chang'E-1 by 2007. The mission objectives are
to obtain a three-dimensional stereo image of the lunar surface
to determine distribution of some useful elements and to estimate their abundance,
to survey the thickness of lunar soil and to evaluate resource of He-3 and
to explore the environment between the Moon and Earth.
To achieve the above mission goals, five types of scientific instruments are selected as payloads of the lunar craft. These include stereo camera and spectrometer imager, laser altimeter, microwave radiometer, gamma and X-ray spectrometers and space environment monitor system. In order to collect, process, store and transmit the scientific data of various payloads a special payload data management system is also included. In this paper the goals of Chang'E-1 and its payloads are described.

摘要: It is very difficult to measure the distance of a moving point target which is not cooperative for detecting in the remote sensing field, because that the point target has no geometrical dimensions and textures can be used and is easy to be missed. In this paper, a new algorithm based on the image sequence and the nonlinear regressive filtering algorithm is proposed, in order to determine the 3-D parameters of the moving point target in an efficient passive way. And a new multi-channel optical imaging system is designed, which is composed of a high-resolution center imaging system and four low resolution sub-imaging systems. By the geometrical relationship of the four sub-imaging system, the initial values of the nonlinear regressive filtering algorithm for estimating can be obtained easily. Finally, the experiments of the proposed algorithm have been done on a real system, and the results proved that the algorithm could passively obtain the 3-D parameters of the moving point target efficiently. Furthermore, in the estimating procedure, the character of the nonlinear regressive filtering algorithm saves lots of memory units and reduces the computing quantity.

摘要: Self-enhancement effect and oscillatory characteristic of diffraction are observed during the holographic recording in LiNbO3:Ce:Cu crystal. Both phenomena are owing to the dynamic diffraction characteristics of photorefractive volume holograms or gratings. On the basis of the experimental results and the above concept, two methods, i.e., the self-enhancement effect and the optimal switching from the recording step to the fixing step, are correspondingly suggested for the production of persistent holograms with high fixed diffraction. By use of our recently presented time-space dynamic theory of two-center holographic recording, the experimental results are theoretically analyzed and numerically simulated. The simulations are in good agreement with the experimental results. It is shown that the self-enhancement in both steps of recording and fixing can obviously enhance the recorded and fixed hologram and thus the nonvolatile diffraction efficiency. And it is also indicated that switching after the first diffraction maximum leads theoretically to fixed diffraction of as much as 100% with a suitable switching time. This optimal switching provides a completely new method to obtain high persistent diffraction of-the nonvolatile holographic storage in doubly doped LiNbO3 crystals.

摘要: A high power double-clad ytterbium-doped large-mode-area photonic crystal fibre (LMA PCF) laser was demonstrated using a unique Fabry-Perot (F-P) configuration. A Continuous-wave output power of 50 W at similar to 1.04 mu m with a slope efficiency of 76.3% was obtained. Single transverse mode operation is achieved without any thermal-optical problems. This laser has the potential for scaling to much higher Output power.

摘要: We experimentally demonstrate an Er3+-doped femtosecond mode-locked optical fiber laser which operates at the 1550-nm wavelength and generates ultrashort optical pulses with width of 270 fs, repetition frequency of 20 MHz, and average output power of 146 mu W. We find that the pulse width keeps stable increasing when the pump source optical power is enhanced in the range from 25 mW to 60 mW. However, if the Pump Source optical power exceeds 60 mW, the oscillation phenomenon would occur in pulses width. To be used as an optical source in fiber-optic communications system, the output femtosecond pulses from the mode-locked laser are also amplified specially through an Er3+-doped optical fiber amplifier. The relationships between Pump optical power and amplified characteristics including amplified optical pulses width, amplified average optical power, amplified single optical pulse energy, amplified gain and spectrum shape are studied experimentally in the amplified experiment.

摘要: The distortion of the super wide-view field optical system has a bad effect on the precision of the imaging geometrical position, and it will be increased largely as the view field increasing, which greatly influences the precisely measurement and copy. It's harder to measure the distortion of the ultraviolet than the risible light because of the invisibility. A distortion measurement method based on the CCD and PC is proposed. Using the pixel units of CCD as the target board and a specific risible spectrum can by image correlation processing to determine the dimension; then, the relationship between the ultraviolet and the spectrum which has been measured is built. So, the distortion of the risible light can be measure by some transfer relation. the influence of man-induced factor is avoided. This measurement method can be applied to many people observation simultaneously and its result image can be saved, for future inspection examination and as the original data for distortion correct. Data fitting is used to improve the distortion correct precision.

摘要: The optical properties and potential applications of four kinds of fulgide and fulgimide were studied. A parallel optical storage apparatus was set up, which could reach the area density of 4.8 x 10(7) bits/cm(2) on the fulgide/PMMA film. Fourier transform orthogonal circular polarization holographic data storage was performed with high signal-to-noise-ratio reconstruction image, which obtained the storage density of 2 X 10(8) bits/cm(2) for single hologram. Two-photon induced micro-patterns were recorded on the fulgimide/PMMA film with 800 nm, 100 fs, 1 KHz, 50 mW femtosecond laser. Dual-wavelength (650 nm and 488 nm) optical images storage were tested on a two-color mixing fulgides/PMMA film.

摘要: ZnSe/SiO2 silica gel glasses were prepared through a sol-gel process. A femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy and a time-resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy were used to detect the electron and hole relaxation in the ZnSe QDs. In the case of excitation 3.76eV, the TA and PL spectra were detected. The results showed that two competing processes, electron-hole recombination and surface electron trapping, occur in 10 similar to 100 ps time scale and the holes on valance band decay in about 1 ps.

摘要: Fiber optic taper has been used more and more widely as a relay optical component in the integrated taper assembly image intensified sensors for military and medical imaging application. In this paper, the transmission characteristic of energy in the taper is analyzed, and following the generalized definition of the modulation transfer function for sampled imaging system, a spatial averaged impulse response and a corresponding MTF component that are inherent in the sampling process of taper are deduced, and the mathematical model for evaluating the modulation transfer function of fiber optic taper is built. Finally, the dynamic and static modulation transfer function curves simulated by computer have been exhibited.

摘要: We investigate the optical properties of a one-dimensional semiconductor quantum wire in the presence of a static electric field applied along the axis. Optical absorption spectra near the band gap are nonperturbatively calculated by solving the tow-density semiconductor Bloch equations in real space. The influence of the Franz-Keldysh effect and the exciton ionization on the continuum of the absorption spectrum in semiconductor quantum wire is investigated. We found substantial and tunable absorption oscillations appear above the band gap for reasonable electric strengths. This shows semiconductor quantum wire has great promise of the potential applications in electric-optical devices.

摘要: In order to achieve higher output powers, double-clad fibers (DCF's) are widely used by optical fiber lasers and amplifiers. In this paper, we present a comprehensive mathematical model for the novel multi-mode (MM) double-clad (DC) Er: Yb co-doped hexagonal fiber, Based on the rate and propagation equations, the pump light and forward and backward-amplified spontaneous emissions (ASE +/-) light transmission in the fiber are analyzed numerically and measured. The simulative and experimental results show that pump power was absorbed almost completely when the length of the fiber is about 3.5 similar to 4 in, the suitable length of the fiber in optical fiber lasers is 2 similar to 2.5 m. and the 2 in long fiber emits at 1535 and 1543 nm simultaneously, and the peak-value wavelength of ASE+ changes to the long wavelength with the increase of the pump power. The results investigated are useful for the design of optical fiber lasers.
